Well, after a few weeks of getting back into the school groove, (and after spending a week making fancy invitations for my hubby's 40th birthday party; post to go up soon! ;) I'm finally reading to get back to participating in some of my favorite weekly challenges...two of which are the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge and the Play Date Cafe Challenge. I combined them this week to make my card...
And voila my card:
I don't know if it is remotely perceptible, but I stamped the green card base with Text-It in a really light green color because I wanted it to be subtle...at first it looked great, and once I had the card assembled (and could therefore not do anything about it), the ink color had faded so much that you could hardly see it! I didn't really want it to be that subtle... ;) oh well...I took another close up picture, hoping you might be able to see the text better...
In any case, it's fun to be back to challenges again. Have a great week everyone!

WOW this is so elegant, Rachel! The bright orange and green are so lovely together. It's making me think that I use too many neutrals on my cards! These colors just pop by themselves. The simple embellishments let your amazing doily shine!
