Papertrey Designers' Favorite Color Combo Challenge + Mojo Monday 177 & H2H Challenge

Whew! It's now 12:51am, and I'm just now getting my entries posted for the Color Challenge that Papertrey posted yesterday...as part of the 4th anniversary festivities, it was announced that a new color combination binder will be available this month....yay! I love this idea, to be able to come up with awesome color combinations, quickly and easily.

Each PT designer shared their favorite color combo (10 total) and the challenge was to take one or some or all of them and make a project using those color combos. The prize is a ginormous collection of cardstock, felt, ribbon, etc...my dream come true! ;) You can have up to 11 entries...one for a comment, and one for each color combination..So I say to myself, "Sure, I can make 10 cards in one day! I'll just keep it simple, use the same layout for all of them, just change the color combo...no problem!" Well, for me it just doesn't work out that easily, which is why it's so late right now. LOL. I just have too hard a time keeping it simple! Plus I have so many stamps I want to use, and pulling together all the right papers for the combos...it took much longer than I thought. But at least I can say that I did my level best to get as many entries as I possibly could! ;) (Actually, I ran out of steam at 9 cards...so I'll get an even 10 entries. Oh well, ha)

I also decided to go ahead and kill a couple more birds with the same stone, so I made several of the cards with the Mojo Monday layout for this week, as well as the H2H challenge from last week that I'm a bit behind on. It may be late, and I'm going to be a wreck tomorrow morning, but I think I have done it! :)

So here's the Mojo Monday sketch and the cards I made with this layout-->>

And below is my card with Betsy's favorite color combo: Scarlet Jewel, Hibiscus Burst, Harvest Gold & Rustic Cream ~

Next up, same layout, with Nichole's combo: Melon Berry, Terracotta Tile, Kraft & Dark Chocolate ~

Next, still the Mojo Monday layout, with Dawn's color combo: Raspberry Fizz, Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores, Dark Chocolate & Kraft ~

This is the H2H Challenge sketch for last week --->>

And my card, using Lisa's colors: Pure Poppy, Spring Rain, Kraft, Vintage Cream ~

By this point, I was starting to get exhausted and realized that I had to make 4 more cards, so they had better be very similar and SIMPLE! The next four cards are all basically the same layout, my attempt to be simple.

Here is Heather's favorite color combos: Ripe Avocado, Spring Rain, Dark Chocolate, Kraft ~

And Melissa Phillips' colors: Hibiscus Burst, Sweet Blush, Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss ~

Jessica's Witty's colors: Soft Stone, Summer Sunrise, Aqua Mist & Raspberry Fizz ~

And last but not least, Erin's colors: Ripe Avocado, Ocean Tides, Vintage Cream, & Dark Chocolate ~

I must admit that putting together these projects with these color combinations was a TON of fun! And now, I must go to bed. Nighty night!
