Papertrey February Blog Hop
I wish I had a bunch more artwork to share today, but with TWO snow days this week, I didn't get my full crafting time with my girlies at home with me.
The challenge for this month's hop is scallops. I've had the eyelet lace border for awhile now with only limited use, so I thought I'd give it a workout! I chose Basic Grey's Two Scoops papers because I've loved them for a long time and haven't used them up yet! They are now discontinued, but I seem to be continuing the trend of using up some of my old papers before I delve into my giant new stash. These Two Scoops papers just make me think of yummy birthday cake & decorations.
I went through my massive stash of paper scraps and chose several colors of cardstock that coordinated with the colors in the Two Scoops papers. I used all of these to cut the eyelet lace borders for my background. I used Cupcake Collection again with the coordinating dies because I love this set! I use a Stampin' Up border punch with the coordinating corner punch to punch the scallops around the square frame in the middle. I hope this is a pleaser! :)
