Papertrey AND Waltzingmouse Creative Button Use Challenge

Edited to add: Today (Feb 17) is Waltzingmouse blog hop day! And I wanted to enter this card into their blog waltz because their theme is also "Designing with Buttons"...

In celebration of their upcoming release called Button Boutique and all its accompanying accoutrements (so much cuteness!), Papertrey is doing another giveaway for a huge prize package. The challenge was to make a card creatively using buttons. I'd had this idea knocking around my head for awhile since the Waltzingmouse blog hop this month is has the same challenge! (Yay, killing two birds with one stone again! Not that I wouldn't like to make yet another button card, but time constraints and demands for a zillion other paper projects dictate that I must be efficient)

Can I just say, I LOVE HOW THIS CARD TURNED OUT! Being on a learning curve means that my perfectionist self is only completely happy with how a creation turns out about 10% of the time. (Let's hope that number keeps going up! ;) This is one of the 10%. I'm so thrilled with how it ended up.

I just just gotten some Stampin' Up specialty designer paper that I wanted to use, so I pulled that out, along with rainbow colors of inks, LOTS of buttons, and my little butterfly (loving this little guy) from Love Lives Here.

Here is the result:
